Sorry, I can't get the video to post with the article, I have to post it as a comment, then it posts twice. :-(
Also, the title link doesn't go to the video web location, it just reopens this page. But clicking on "C-SPAN" does open the web location.
Jim, I posted the above American Thinker article the other day as a test. Can you check the post and see if I did it correctly? Did I leave anything essential out? I know there are very specific requirements in posting articles on FR (that's why I don't do it - LOL), and apparently here too. Did I include all necessary information?
Looks good to me. I think as long as we excerpt and link all sourced news articles we should be ok.
Wow! I don't understand a lot of that, but it sounds great. I also saw that you are going in include a "like" feature on this site. That's good. I am on facebook so much that when I come to FR and read something I agree with, I instinctively go for the like button....which is not there. LOL.
RE: the Yoakam video, I see what you mean. I will repost it tomorrow and follow your directions. It makes sense to have it on a separate thread with it's own comments. This is a little confusing. I am worn out and heading for bed. I will check back in tomorrow and keep feeling my way around.
I'm still thinking you might want to post the Yoakum video as a new thread. Click on the "Post to:" box at the top of your music page, and paste the url into the embed field on a new post. Then the video will always be at the top of the the thread and any comments will follow under it. Same holds true if you want to start a new thread with a photo or image.
It appears pretty small in this post, the next ones are bigger--Just about right IMO
You added ** height="150"** so it IS smaller
Syncro, trisham, Jim, et al....I am just now seeing these comments. Wasn't ignoring you, but somehow they got buried. Yes, Gary, we need to get together soon, and a sad 'ditto' to your "what military?" comment.
Testing pings. Coming along, but not quite there yet. Taking longer than I thought it would. You may see some dust ups, bugs, incompletions, and false starts, but hoping we get it all smoothed out soon.
Yay! Thanks for all your hard work and diligence on this, Jim.
Very cool, Mama Bear.
