I am a proud "Randanista", ie: a follower of Ayn Rand's Objectivist Ethics. From my facebook page: Conservative without a party, news junkie, Diet Coke, facebook, and Game of Thrones, Mad Men, and Breaking Bad addict. Married to my best friend, the most honorable man I know. Mom to a wonderful son and two spoiled furbabies. Grandmother to three great kids! I have been "Mama_Bear" on FreeRepublic.com since March 1998. It's the best conservative discussion forum on the internet! Thank you, Jim and John Robinson, for providing my home on the internet and thank you, freeper friends, for providing so many years of conservative camaraderie.

Skip Barber's Formula Three Day Driving School was his birthday gift to himself. He had a blast and said he learned a lot there.

Sounds wonderful! My eldest used to drive his company's race car: a BMW. He loved it, (I didn't).

onyx, that's what my son normally races. He's a big BMW guy - his daily driver is a BMW, his wife drives a Mini, and he is looking for a used BMW for his son's first car. He bought a 1992 325i dedicated track/race car (above) that he's been fixing up for "track days". Skip Barber's Racing School was to hone his skills. He was afraid it was going to be redundant, but he says he actually learned a great deal that he can apply to getting the most out of his track car. I have become adjusted to his racing obsession and am happy he keeps it on the track - he's probably safer there than on the Bay Area freeways....and, he's NOT racing motorcycles. That is a mother's worst fear. Thank God, he sold his Harley last year. Now I can sleep! LOL.
His car is a blank slate. Needs some sponsor decals, badly. LOL.

Testing pings. Coming along, but not quite there yet. Taking longer than I thought it would. You may see some dust ups, bugs, incompletions, and false starts, but hoping we get it all smoothed out soon.
